Educational Visits

Early Years & Primary Packages

Croxteth Park Farm offers a range of unique learning experiences linked to EYFS goals and the National Curriculum Programmes of Study for Key Stages 1 and 2.

Visits can be bespoke to cover specific objectives or have a wider focus, providing the perfect opportunity for children to discover and learn all about life on a farm and the variety of animals we look after.

Topics recently covered include habitats, life cycles, classification and plants.

Diddy Farmers: Activities specifically designed for nurseries and groups of younger children.

Each visit includes a tour of the farm with an experienced farm leader and time for the children to explore the farm themselves.

“The children were able to have an incredible experience led by dedicated staff who helped make the visit really enjoyable and educational for our children” Rimrose Hope Primary School

“I would highly recommend a school trip to Croxeth Park. Our booking was made very easily and we were greeted upon arrival and talked through how our day will be organised. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our children loved all of the activities, especially feeding all of the animals, and could recall information and their experiences afterwards. Thank you for a wonderful day.” St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School

    Incubator Hire

We also have incubator packages which come complete with everything you need to hatch and properly care for chicks. Our incubators are fully automatic meaning that temperature, humidity and turning the eggs are controlled to provide the ideal hatching environment for the eggs. At the end of this educational experience, all of our chicks are returned to the farm where they will live. Please note: As we will never hatch more chicks than we can accommodate comfortably on our farm, incubator hire may be limited at times.
